Transportation Assistance Program (TAP)

Individuals with disabilities struggle to access their communities due to a lack of transportation. This barrier hinders independence, health, mental well-being and more, causing disparity among the disabled population.

We want to help!

BIANK has created a program to assist with accessing and supplementing the cost of reliable transportation within the NKY community. BIANK's Transportation Assistance Program has two different categories: RAMP and General. See below for more details about each. Please note, you are welcome to utilize both, but BIANK cannot exceed $50 total for monthly support.

TAP RAMP

The Regional Area Mobility Program (RAMP) is a door-to-door paratransit service available to disabled citizens who are unable to use TANK’s fixed route bus service. The RAMP TAP application can be used to request up to $50/month worth of tickets to ride RAMP. Please click here to learn more about being approved to ride RAMP before submitting your application.

TAP General

The general TAP application can be used to request up to $50/month to support the cost of transportation through any means other than RAMP. Examples include the regular TANK bus/route, rideshare programs, or gas reimbursement for a personal contact willing to provide transportation.
