About Us
The Brain Injury Alliance of Northern Kentucky (BIANK) is a valuable statewide resource instrumental in promoting its mission to serve those affected by brain injury through advocacy, education, prevention, service, and support. BIANK is regularly evaluating the needs of the community and adapting or expanding the pool of resources to support them. Current programs, supports, and resources include but are not limited to:
-
Fee-Free Point of Contact
-
Fee-Free Casework
-
Brain Injury Survivor Peer Support
-
Annual Community Gatherings
In 2004, a group of families in need of community began a small support group for those affected by brain injury. By 2009, the support group, called Bridges, grew into a small nonprofit with the goal of helping the local brain injury community. In the more than two decades since the beginning, we've grown, changed our name, and created a number of programs to meet the needs of our community. We continue to expand our services while maintaining the heart of support cultivated by the original Bridges Support Group members.
BIANK cannot accomplish its mission without the backing of our community. Northern Kentucky has always cared for their own with a charitable sense of pride and purpose. It is our hope that this tradition will continue and that, together, we can continue to help those in their time of need.
BIANK serves the Greater Cincinnati area with a special focus on the Northern Kentucky region.
